JJ Abrams revives the MI franchise with this utterly preposterous but enjoyable romp around the world. Ethan Hunt has retired but Phillip Seymour-Hoffman's baddie has kidnapped his new wife, queue world saving action, leaping off buildings, shooting and fighting. Brainless popcorn fodder and all the better for it. (48 words)
