The second in the Baroque Cycle trilogy continues to follow Daniel Waterhouse, Eliza and Jack Shaftoe on their respective journeys around the world in the 17th century. Like Quicksilver the depth of detail is astounding but this time there's more swashbuckling and intrigue. Can't wait for the final instalment. (49 words)
