Set in the Hareem of the King of Morocco, some time in the late 18th Century, this novel concentrates on the life of one of the concubines, a Scottish girl. Loosely based on historical evidence about European women in Morocco, this was both interesting and enjoyable. Perfect holiday reading. (49 words)
