This highly rated film failed to light by oil-fire. Daniel Day-Lewis plays an 1890's self-made prospector who buys a family farm and strikes oil. He has to deal with the fall-out on the village and its evangelical people. Ultimately, I didn't feel anything for any of the characters. (48 words)
