Clint Eastwood's dark anti-western about ageing gunslingers, vengeful prostitutes and a power-mad sherrif is a disturbing and fascinating tale that rings with the kind of truth that his "spaghetti-westerns" never came near despite all their grittiness. Not my favorite Eastwood western, but in my top 10 of all westerns. (49 words)
