While there may be a few very convenient plot developments in this Di Vinci Code follow-up, overall it is more thrilling and coherant with its single geographical location. Hanks as lead and Mcgregor in support stand out but there is only one thin female role. Thoroughly enjoyable anyway. (48 words)

This star studded comedy revolves around a bunch of egotistical actors who end up accidently in a Vietnam drug lord controlled jungle. Stiller's wannabe hero and Downey Junior's method actor work well in tandem but the stand out performance is Tom Cruise as a dancing movie mogul. (47 words)

In this new take on the body swap rom com Mike O'Donnal (Matthew Perry) becomes 17 again (in the form of Zac Efron - lucky man). He helps out his kids and sorts his own life at the same time. Unexpected side story with the headmistress and best friend. Superior. (50 words)

Re-watched this on tv. It starts promisingly as quite an epic but then rapidly deteriorates into odly timed 'adventure' with a bland script and zero chemistry between leads Knightly and Owen. The knights are quite cute, Ray Winston surprisingly stands out. So disappointing. (43 words)

Will Smith is excellent in this movie about a man, Hancock, with super-human powers who losesw his public support and is an alcoholic. A small-time PR man aims to get him on the straight and narrow and then Hancock discovers 'another of his kind'. Good but Story-line didn't run together. (50 words)

This Cohen brothers all-star caper includes Clooney, Pitt and Malkovitch among it's cast and, whilst full of quality, didn't quite live up to my expectations in the same way that, for example, the Cohen brother's Big Lebowski did. A dark comedy that's worth a watch but not Cohen-tastic! (48 words)

It's not often that the film outdoes the book but this adaptation provided more developed characters and a clearer storyline than the novel on which it is based. Kate Winslet is excellent, as are the main supports. I only wish I had a better idea of its historical accuracy. (49 words)

I expected a superficial rom com and, while it had many of those enjoyable elements, there was slightly more to this Owen Wilson/ Jennifer Aniston vehicle which looks at compromises people with pets and kids have to make. I'm beginning to see why people want dogs. (46 words)

This children's cartoon has a stellar cast of voices (from Matthew Broderick to Sigorney Weaver) and is well worth a watch for grown-ups too! It tells the tale of an adventurous mouse, Despereaux, who reads a tale of chivalry and sets out on his quest to save a princess. Excellent! (50 words)
