I'm not much for self help books but Yes Man changed my life, for the better. Since reading how Danny Wallace said Yes to every oppurtunity given him I have been saying yes to more myself and things are better for that. Read it, love it, be inspired. (48 words)

This is the best book I have ever read (and I've read a lot). It's atmospheric, fast paced, well written, conjures fantastic images, but above all, is a great story. Read this book today! (34 words)

Dickens magic-fest pits two magicians against each other in the shadow of the Napoleonic threat. Add the melancholic and sinister intrusion of Faerie and you have one of the most intriguing fantasy novels for years. Worth the read, even if you don't care for the genre. (46 words)

I'm not usually into fantasy but OMG what a really compelling story. Long but due to that there is a whole world to lose yourself in. A slightly slow start and then a whirlwind of action and mystery. (38 words)
