The T3 is not a "toy" for the gadget conscious exec, for the image conscious I would head for the HP or Toshiba PDAs. Palm make PDAs which just work and are not too flashy about it. Battery life is good, the apps are better and connectivity is great. (49 words)

Some say that when God created the earth, he used up all the best bits on the Cook Islands in the South Pacific, and that's why nowhere else compares with its unspoiled beauty. A great non-commercial travel guide...but I would say that as I created it! (46 words)

They say sometimes the older an artist gets, the worst their new material becomes. It’s quite the opposite with Paul Weller. I’d rate this album up there with his “Stanley Road” release, with a range of styles illustrated by tracks like “Blink as you’ll Miss it” and “Roll Along Summer”. (50 words)

Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman use clues he has left himself to piece together a plot after he has his memory erased. He solves a plan to use a device that can see into the future which will destroy the world as we know it. Bit far fetched but OK. (50 words)

This intimate 1600-capacity show, their first performance in the UK for six years, was never going to disappoint the fans. With new material from their upcoming release intertwined with old classics like Even Flow and Porch, the band never let up throughout the intense two-hour set. Nothing short of amazing. (50 words)

Of the "new jazz generation" Cincotti is the most talented: he looks like Jonny Depp; plays like Billy Taylor; sings like Frank Sinatra. There's plenty on this album to demonstrate that, but plenty to lament. Why is he trying to be more like Jamie Cullum? He's surely better than that. (50 words)

I am sure that there are equally good monitors out there but in the end it's best to go with what you know and have had recommended by others you trust. The definition is superb, there is no image lag and it supports the very high resolutions that I prefer. (50 words)

Quite simply superb. The image quality is crisp and clear and adjusts to light conditions so it is as good on a bright day as a dark night. The virtual surround sound is pretty impressive and the various sockets (scartt, VGA etc) provide all the options you could ever need. (50 words)

Good bits - sound, footprint (credit card size) and interface. But you only discover these once you have negotiated the shocking software which enables you to get files onto the thing in the first place. Reasonable value at £150, but if less impatient than me, wait for the iPod mini. (50 words)

A beautiful website for 2 amazing bottled beers from Corsica. Pietra - Made from chestnuts gathered in the high Corsican mountains from trees some of which are more than 1500 years old. Colomba - A wheat/white beer made from Maquis the famous Corsican forest of wild flowers and herbs (49 words)

A superior stoner movie by Judd Apatow and Seth Rogan involving the eponymously named weed, a murdered cop, a witness (Rogan), a drugged-out dealer, the irate parents of the witness' girlfriend and various other wonderfully odd characters. An excellent waste of 1.5 hours!! (43 words)

With a very slim form, integration of all of the formats you need (DVD, CD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, JPEG etc) and an appealling price, what more can you ask for. I suppose a digital out but I don't need that. The menus are clear, picture excellent. A good budget buy. (50 words)

Where the first movie was inventive and amusing, this descended into lazy gurning for laughs. There were a few amusing bits but the story was non-existant and the movie so badly edited that I was glad when it all ended. A pity for what promised to be a good movie. (50 words)

A very disappointing movie, which suffers from many of the same problems as other intended-to-form-the-middle-of-a-trilogy films - i.e. it has no ending, and is a pale imitation of the first one. If the writers have any ideas left, I presume they are saving them for the gripping, installment. (48 words)

Never, in all of my life, have I seen a film which was so badly made as this shocker. Gore Verbinski should be ashamed. The acting is wooden, the overly-complicated storyline does not hang together and no amount of special effects will cure this film's problems. Utter pap. (48 words)

Let's start with the good: Johnny Depp is still funny as Captain Jack, Keira Knightley still looks great and the effects and CGI are stunning. On the downside, it's massively overlong, the story makes absolutely no sense and there's more than a touch of the Matrix trilogy around the franchise. (50 words)

Reese is a Greenpeace crusader turned "for-profit" marketeer and his life is falling apart. Battling against a world gone mad, Reese is deperate to keep his life -- and family -- together despite the odds against him. A dark and hilarious read, this is Strube's seventh novel. (47 words)

Baseball/Cricket comparative study by Kent/England Cricketer. Enjoyable, and Smith clearly has the journalistic hopes of many a county pro, but I think you need to know not much about baseball to get anything out of this book. Kept me busy for a few hours, but not hugely insightful. (48 words)

A fantastic read about those who have asked the big question of themselves, and made a change. Po has interviewed nearly 900 people, and it’s through their experiences he conveys interesting and informative messages. A refreshing change to the intense self-help style preaching one usually expects from such a book. (50 words)

Really very interesting stuff, a huge mixture of topics from the lives of airline staff through to actual flying stories told by the pilot himself and other people that he flies with. (50 words)

Adam "The Podfather" Curry, the guy who popularised podcasting runs his own daily show from his house in Surrey and his condo in San Francisco. Just a greta mixture of his life, his family, music and inconsequential chat. You get sucked into his obsessions because of his energy. Great stuff. (50 words)

Definitely not for the easily offended and also a bit of a misnomer. Politics in the sense most of us think of it is not really mentioned at all, this is more of a vehicle to be politically incorrect. (39 words)

Saw them live recently in London when they were touring on the back of this latest release. It comes with the trademark combination of big guitar riffs and Bernard Fanning’s wailing and hollering. A little more commercial than their older releases, but nevertheless growing on me after a few listens. (50 words)

Despite the fact that this was a fairly average movie, based, albeit very loosely, on a fairly average book, it still managed to keep me and the rest of the cinema blubbing from beginning to end. Letters from beyond the grave help young widow Holly move on with life. OK (50 words)

By Celia Ahern this book follows a womans life after her loosing her husband, although a good idea I wouldn't advise anyone who has been through this to read it. It's unrealistic and like any book has the "Typical" happy ending it shouldnt end this way not a brilliant book. (50 words)

This release compiles a number of cds and EPs from Pulp before they became radio friendly. Songs like 'Will To Power', 'Little Girl' and 'Dogs Are Everywhere' (a different version of which appeared as a B-side on Common People) showcase a dark and brooding Pulp dealing with 1980s life. (49 words)

A very stylish (set in anodised aluminium) little toy. Digital radio is ever-increasing in popularity, but there aren't many personal DAB radios on the market. I can't think there are many better than this. Simple, easy to use and pleasing on the eye. Reception good even with normal headphones. (49 words)

When Holly's husband dies the letters he leaves her help lead her to a new life. Soon to be a major movie, this chick lit is original in its premise and did keep my interest but Aherne is not yet on a par with fellow Irishwoman Marion Keyes. (48 words)
