What a crock. Cliched, weak non-sensical story, needless sword fights, rips off loads of other films. Does have Milla Jovovich in it though. BIG BADA BOOM ! 1.5 just for her. (31 words)

Trying to be a combination of Blade and The Matrix is no bad thing but the standards set are very high. Lacking the budget of either the effects are sometimes lacking but the action was always good and the general look and feel excellent. Good performances by Nighy and Beckinsale. (50 words)

Some really cool special effects, fights and the soft porn of Kate Beckinsale in her tight rubber suit fail to make up for the total lack of story in this follow up to the original Underworld. What the hell Derek Jacobi's doing here is beyond me, maybe needed the cash? (50 words)

Clint Eastwood's dark anti-western about ageing gunslingers, vengeful prostitutes and a power-mad sherrif is a disturbing and fascinating tale that rings with the kind of truth that his "spaghetti-westerns" never came near despite all their grittiness. Not my favorite Eastwood western, but in my top 10 of all westerns. (49 words)

Billed as a comedy, this New York tale about two spoint girls (one young - Dakota Fanning) and one older (Brittany Murphy) is actually a pretty sad tale about how kids cope when they have no real support. The real highlight? Billy from Neighbours as love interest with a guitar! (50 words)
