Set in late '66s Harlem, Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington) takes over from his recently deceased gangster boss and floods the Tri-state area with pure heroin sourced from Vietnam with a little help from corrupt police officers. Detective Ritchie Roberts (Russell Crowe) is the man to stop Lucas (eventually). Ecellent epic. (50 words)

There was so much potential to ruin this in the same way as Star Wars, but in the end we got what we wanted, a classic Indy movie. Harrison Ford looks incredibly spritely for his age, and even the new characters work pretty well. A worthy addition to the franchise. (50 words)

Had to write my own review. This movie is fantastical! A fairy tale for grown ups with fab performances from relatively unknown lead Charlie Cox, Michelle Pfeiffer and others. Any movie with Robert De Niro as a cross dressing pirate gets my vote! (43 words)

A good quality PG film based around a young lad leaving the "wall" and finding love and life beyond his sleepy village. The charaters are done well and worth seeing, the witches and lightning catchers always a good add, the humour good. A good all round film (47 words)

Not quite as good as Shaun of the Dead but still a cut above your average comedy schlock. So many little references to cop movies you could probably watch it five or six times and not pick them all up. An excellent comedy with the cream of British comedy acting. (50 words)

This comedy from the same farm as 40 Year Old Virgin is much funnier than it's predecessor. Foul language throughout but genuinely funny with great acting from all involved. A mid-20s stoner has a one-night stand, but the girl gets pregnant and they both have to deal with the consequences. (50 words)

This french language movie about a friendless antiques dealer who has ten days to make a best friend is heartwarming and funny. Both leads are convincing and endearing, although supporting cast are a bit bland. Really enjoyable- you almost forget about the subtitles. (43 words)

An animated Disney film about a penguin looking to find love with support of friends and support of family. An excellent film, great graphics and good music a catchy film definatly worth watching and one you can watch again, comically known as "slappy Feet" for the tap dancing. (48 words)

Anime cartoon definately not for children, PG12 in Britain. Set in Japan at the end of World War II. This is the story of a brother and sister, 12 and 3 years old respectively and how, together, they cope with their difficulties. This is the most depressing/saddest film I've seen. (50 words)

Wrote, directed and starring Zach Braff of Scrubs. Although nothing notable happens in the film, its highly enjoyable and you never feel bored. The chemistry between Braff and Portman is amazing. highly recommended. (33 words)
