After losing my previous phone, this is its replacement and boy what a replacement! With a memory stick duo card I can use it as a music player (with some very good headphones) and with the synching ability to my PC there is a usable calendar. (46 words)

My first new phone for 3 years (!) and a direct replacement for my old Motorola V60. This has all the required specifications - 300+ hours of battery life, tri-band, colour screen, digital camera, mini USB link and, of course, a game involving little fish! Screen resolution could be better. (50 words)

A very stylish (set in anodised aluminium) little toy. Digital radio is ever-increasing in popularity, but there aren't many personal DAB radios on the market. I can't think there are many better than this. Simple, easy to use and pleasing on the eye. Reception good even with normal headphones. (49 words)

After an hour and a bit to get it set up and a scary reliance on internet resources rather than supplied documentation this is a really cool gadget. It allows you to replace your living room stereo. The fully integrated home computer is nearing reality. (45 words)

With the explosion of the iPod, broadband and wireless, a traditional living room stereo is not really needed these days. Enter the JBL Creatures which as well as having superb quality sound-wise, are pieces of sculpture in their own right. Ideal if you are fully immersed in the tech world. (50 words)

With a very slim form, integration of all of the formats you need (DVD, CD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, JPEG etc) and an appealling price, what more can you ask for. I suppose a digital out but I don't need that. The menus are clear, picture excellent. A good budget buy. (50 words)

I was quite happy with my old phone but if you get offered a free one you'll take it. This K700i does exactly the same as I'm used to-Bluetooth, GPRS, WAP but with a colour screen, camera and radio as well. Call quality seems good and the toys are fun. (50 words)

This combination printer, scanner and photocopier offers the small home office or business a great tool. With quality output and a (relatively) fast throughput of pages this is a good, cheap option. Not good for high volume or really high end photos but as a general workhorse can't be beaten. (50 words)

Sysinternals offer a suite of extremely detailed system analysis tools for most Windows versions. They are not for those scared of computers but for the serious Windows user (and there are a few!) they are invaluable. Special mention for Process Explorer which is an excellent Task Manager replacement. (48 words)

The T3 is not a "toy" for the gadget conscious exec, for the image conscious I would head for the HP or Toshiba PDAs. Palm make PDAs which just work and are not too flashy about it. Battery life is good, the apps are better and connectivity is great. (49 words)
